YWAM International Day of Prayer

Every first thursday of the month, YWAM bases all over the world partake in a day of fasting and prayer. This month's prayer was focused on Philippeans 1:27 through 2:18. We met at 8:00am and split into groups to intercede for our base in MoBay. At this particular base, we have 9 different gates that lead into the campus. When YWAM first received this base in Jamaica, they made a covenant with the Lord to continue to pray over the gates and the Lord gave them names for each one. For example, we have the Mercy Gate, Righteous Gate, Praise Gate, Faithful Gate, to name a few.
We broke fast at 5:30pm for soup. I was told that this is the only time we will ever have soup for a meal is once a month on these fasting days. I guess Jamaicans don't like to make soup or something. :)
